Today I was watching a video on how fan films shaped The Lego Movie, and in the video, it showed what is referred to as the first stop-motion Lego film called "En Reijse Til Månen" (Journey To The Moon) which was made in 1973 by Danish brothers Lars and Henrik Hassing for their grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. After the party, they showed it to Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, the son of the CEO of the Lego company. He liked it, and they got a tour of the Lego factory and got sent some big Lego sets to take home.
Without further ado, here is the film, which was shot in Super 8 film. Enjoy!

Thanks, LegoMaster!
The Lego was exactly as I remember it from my youngest days, before the time of MindStorms, Technics and all the themed Lego sets - such a nostalgia trip.
