Oftentimes, not long before my alarm goes off, my bed inexplicably feels softer and warmer than when I got in. It's rather inconvenient that this happens right before I have to leave; even though I purposefully keep my alarm clock at the other side of my room so I have to get up, I still find myself immediately going back to bed until my mom knocks on my door.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Oh yes!
When I go to bed, I just cannot seem to get comfortable in any position, sometimes for hours.
When the alarm goes off, my bed is the cosiest place in the world.

That never worked for me either, and I can't have an alarm with a "snooze" button either, it would be too tempting!

^^ Oh dear, I resemble that remark.

ROFLMAO. (why is there no acronym for rolling-on-floor-laughing-til-I-pee? ROFLTIP. There's one now.)

she eventually gave in and got the pelvic floor surgery, but she still was pretty stone-faced, I guess a no-laugh habit becomes ingrained.

Glad she got help for that.

If I couldn't laugh I'd explode. No pee involved.

My bed tends to be less comfortable before I have to get up cuz my back is sore but sometimes it's sore rite after I lay down too. It's probably cuz of the position I sleep in & it would also help if started doing my back exercises again.

Yes! I put off getting up as long as I possibly can. Even when I need to get up to use the bathroom, I often will climb right back in my bed. It's definitely my happy place, especially during the cold months.

-snork- So now I'm sitting here cackling at the thought of poor little Auntblabby trying not to explode every time you peed, poor thing. Parents packing the bathroom with sandbags. Air raid sirens going off.

Not what you meant, but that's where I went. Possibly mercifully. Yay for Asperger literalmindedness! And Monty Python, whose fault this doubtless is.

Thank you, I haven't laughed like this in ages.
