Are hard boiled eggs typically Scandinavian? :o I hate soft boiled eggs myself (they can't get too hard boiled, rather green than soft), so maybe

Not 100% sure, but when i've been abroad (UK, Germany) i've never seen hard boiled eggs, mostly just scrambled ones @ breakfast. Not complaining though, scrambled eggs are awesome.

And just under 10 minutes = not green.

Metal bands. I literally heard Liv Kristine of the band Leaves' Eyes singing the song "Njord" in my head when I saw this question.

Beautiful geography. Snowy hills and forests and areas of the extreme north of Norway. Sweden and Denmark are pretty but they don't extend to the arctic.
Also Oslo.

Interesting. I had no idea that this meal might be rare abroad.

On occasion I have encountered eggs boiled for 10 minutes that still have slightly gooey core, so I take no chances, as I really cant't stand it. 12-13 minutes means it never happens.

Actually, both Norway and Sweden have land areas beyond the Arctic Circle

That is really neat! I like untraditional x-mas cards.

I mean mostly like the arctic coast. I like Norway because of that specifically. Also Svalbard.

Henning Mankell. I read all his books over many years, and was quite distressed when I learned he was terminally ill and sad about his death.

Aurora Borealis otherwise known as Northern Lights.

Also people who probably don't want to take Trump up on his invitation for Norwegians to immigrate to the U.S...I also think about that.
