Sunset is at around 4:30 and it's usually grey sky. After a lifetime of living in the blazing desert, I love this weather.

The sun is supposed to set at around 4:21 this evening. It's been sunny on some days, overcast on others. It's been pretty mild for November this year.

My mom may be NT, but she seems to have a mild obsession with the length of seasonal daylight we we get. She told me this week that she thought the shortest day of the year was always on the 21st, but she heard it actually varies from year to year and we've already had our shortest day, and now we're maybe getting a few seconds more daylight than usual, but to my mom a few seconds is so much better than a few less seconds. She really doesn't like how short the days are this time of year.

It gets very dork whenever I show up. So my roommates are pretty much living in a state of perpetual dorkness.

There's light?

Heh, there's no rain in the forecast for a couple week stretch.. very few clouds.. but can it be clear and sunny? Noooo.. it's been VERY foggy. It's so foggy right now you can't see much of anything but fog on the camera overlooking the Burrard Inlet near downtown Vancouver: http://katkam.ca/

So California, I would imagine. I've been more or less following the news of the fires there on the weather channel website, certainly seems like a ridiculous amount of fires this year.
