I have wanted a dog for a long time. Now we are finally getting one.

I know that it will help with my anxiety and other autism related issues.

Our puppy is currently 4 weeks old (we get him in 3 weeks). His name is Latte. He is a yellow labrador.

Congratulations, teksla! :D I was wondering when you'd finally get your new dog. Yellow labs are so cute :)

Is Latte the one in the middle of the pic or the one we only see the tail of?

The breeder hasnt yet decided which one we get, but she has narrowed down it to two of the male puppies. In this picture (the second picture) you can see both of the candidates https://photos.app.goo.gl/8seRqNwAbyTGAWK33

All of them are very chubby and cute.

Congratulations! I hope to be getting a new puppy soon. I love yellow labs too, I had one and he was wonderful.

Update:

We are going to pick up our dog in less than 30 minutes. The drive there will take aprox. 30 minutes. I expect to be home with our dog, Latte, in about 2-4 hours.

To this link (same as the one above) i will be adding more pics. The third picture is of our dog, Latte. Later today I'll probably have more pictures added of him!

How awesome. Labs are often used as service dogs. I'm sure he will help you a lot. Happy puppy cuddling.

Update: (He has been with us since Sunday afternoon, today is Tuesday (night))

He seems to have adjusted well to his new home (our home). He likes everyone and is very brave. For the past 24 hours or so, though, he has had loose stools (fancy language for watery poop).

New pictures are also uploaded to the link above (PLUS two videos, one of him outside at night (in our yard) and when he is dreaming and "running")!
