We're probably all well aware of the plight of the bees.

Most of us likely live where we can't really have backyard beehives for a variety of reasons from downtown apartment dweller to the neighbours would kill me or the landlord would freak etc.

For those that could keep a backyard beehive, how many of you WOULD actually do it if $ were no object?

I mean if backyard beehives were raining from the sky and they were free for the taking, how many of you not only Could keep one, but Would keep & maintain one? Especially curious how many people Would keep one who Cannot afford to pay for one but would otherwise be perfectly content to have them buzzing away somewhere in your back 40 in a personal effort to do your part to save the bees. Not just "Yeah, sure, I could easily afford it but I'd take a free one." More "I'd definitely do my part if it didn't cost me ~$500 or so to get started." But I'm also curious who Could afford it & Would tend one themselves, but only if it fell from the sky for free.
