When I was younger, I would pick up handfuls of snow and eat it when I played outside; I liked how soft it was. My parents were always telling me not to, even though I made sure to avoid the dirty areas. I don't spend much time outside anymore, though, so I haven't eaten any in years. Now snow is just eye candy to me.

Yes, in my preschool years I ate snow at times. I always made sure it was clean (not stepped on or discolored etc).

I did when I was little, but now I'm too afraid of germs and stuff, unless it's very freshly fallen, in which case I might snag a mouthful or two. It's fluffier when it's freshly fallen, too, which I like. I don't see anything wrong with eating snow that isn't freshly fallen as long as it's from a clean spot, though - it's easy to tell if it's been stepped in or there's dirt mixed in or something. I'm just paranoid.

There's no snow in my area. I've never been in snow and so haven't eaten it. I wouldn't want to eat snow.

When I was little I ate snow, and I still like to catch falling snowflakes in my mouth or on my tongue. I also like crunching on my ice cubes if I have a cold drink.

Where I'm from only snowed a couple times when I was a kid & I didn't play in the snow much then because I found it too cold. Where I live now gets a lot of snow at times but I didn't move here till I was 29. I don't remember ever eating it.

There's no snow from where I live.
But I do admit eating the snow-like formed ice from the freezer when I was young.

I am sure that every grade school kid in the temperate zone playfully eats snow.

But I stopped thinking about eating snow long before junior high.

When I was in college in the Seventies I had a Frank Zappa album with a song about an Eskimo whose Momma told him to "watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow" causing me to think about snow eating for the first time since I was in grade school. Havent thought about the subject since I used to listen to that album, until just now. So- yes I have eaten snow, but no, it's not something I am constantly tempted to do as a grown up.

When I was a kid - yes. And I was making sure it is pure white.
But I stopped pretty soon. After I took some of the pure white snow and melted it as an experiment, just to find out found the snow water turned... grey.
Even pure white snow isn't clean because it catches the pollution while falling down and only appears white.
