I prefer to use them. More space inside.

Yes, because they're often unisex.
I'm always paranoid about people attacking me because I'm not "handicapped" as in a wheelchair or something obvious for using them, but always plan to cite that as the reason - this is the only unisex stall. Show me one that isn't for either men or women that isn't handicapped, and I'll use it.

Yes, they are bigger and I have claustrophobia.

I like using them because it's more spacious and are usually located far away from the door into the restroom where people come through...disgusting...annoying...people.... I'm not handicap myself but I never had ran into a problem with someone who was needing to use the stall while I was in it.

I wouldn't use the handicap stalls unless they were the only ones available before I got my service dog, because I didn't really have any need of the extra space or anything. Now I do prefer the handicap stalls so there's more room for Merlin. We can make the regular stalls work, but it's less convenient.

I use it when it's open but I find it's much more comfortable seeing that it has much more space than normal stalls.

I try not to use them because a person in a wheelchair might come in and not be able to use it, and then I'll look like a huge jerk.

I would like to use one when the waiting line for normal stalls is huge - but waiting in the line is just as uncomfortable as the embarrassment of getting into the handicapped one without being visibly handicapped therefore I usually just wait for my turn, unless someone else just left the handicapped one and doesn't seem handicapped either. "If they are allowed then I am too".

I am not sure is autism is enough reason to use the handicapped restroom - I don't need more space or any of the devices. Therefore I am not sure if going into handicapped restroom without being physically handicapped is allowed.
The crowd and noise in regular restroom might be an issue but I can deal with it. Not like it's any different in other parts of the shop centre (actually restrooms are often more silent) and if I can deal with it while shopping I should be able to deal with restroom noise/crowd too, right?

I use the disabled toilets at work but only as a changing room because I go to work on my bike and there are no other facilities.

Other than that no, not usually.

Yes, because single-occupancy restrooms I come across are usually more clean.
