I've been recently getting into Skullgirls and I'm wondering if there's anyone around here that plays it.

I've played it, it's okay.

It's very, VERY similar to any of Arc's fighting games (Guilty Gear, Blazblue, Persona, and so on...) so I always found it really easy to get into since I've played those to death, but I dont really know anyone that actually plays it, so it dropped off of my radar fairly quickly. I dont have the undying patience to play fighting games against randoms, you see. It takes forever and is boring. So if nobody I know plays these... and if there's no chance of finding them at conventions... I usually dont stick with the game in question.

But it's always seemed decent enough. Plenty of character concepts that make sense in the same way that Arc's do.

Sometimes the controls could be slightly odd though, I do remember that.

I'm a fan. Got into it a few years back when it was all the rage at tournaments. I main Fillia, Beowulf, Big Band, Cerebella and Peacock.

I am not a super fan of Skullgirls. I love fighting games though. I grew up playing Tekken, Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive so I do best with those fighting games.

I grabbed a copy during the winter sale, but I'm still too bad at it to be addicted.
