Well, I am talking about an actual medical chromosomal analysis and not a commercial product to find out your ancestry. There are things medical specialists can spot that others cant. Here in my country these people are usually called molecular biologists and human genetics medical specialists. I may not be trans, but I do however fall under the category intersex when it comes to genetics (I have XXY, Klinefelters), while I do not appear to have any female secondary organs.

Yeah... I've considered that... but I think I might feel a little silly going to my doc and asking for a genetic diagnosis like that... especially before I've really gone very far into transition.

I do think it would be an interesting part of medical care for transgender people though.

I need to put it somewhere... so I am going to put it in this thread...

I got my diagnosis :) I mentioned gender divergence up front, and talked a bit about gender as a special interest in one of the sessions

The second opinion was by an expert in aspergers in adults, and he confirmed that I meet the criteria... now to do a bunch of thinking about how to live the next chapters of my life! Yay!

Thanks! I am happy too...

It's had a much bigger impact on my overall perception of the world than I thought... like all the sudden I am happy to be in my own little world in public places, I am less anxious about everything, I've got ideas for the future that I don't question and wonder about as I go... it's kinda awesome... I hope it's permanent.
