i actually saw one parked across the street from my house one morning, last year. they are a lot smaller (and wider) than the screen leads you to believe.

As a fan of the movies, I would agree. All it has going for it is purely aesthetic, and the only reason it went as fast as it did on film is the fact that they swapped out the stock engine with that of a Porsche apparently.

e; I came close to being sideswiped by one a while back.

Lots of Bond cars to choose from but my fave is the Lotus Esprit S1

The screen role of the Esprit in the The Spy Who Loved Me did more for Esprit sales than anything else Lotus attempted to do.
