Too bad it wasn’t put to vote. If it had to be changed, the original version would have been better.

I think it's about time from a military standpoint, because many more women are joining the army and fighting for my country every year. It's about time that all our soldiers are acknowledged and not just the males, anymore. I think the words should have been changed 20 years ago.
