Why doesn't the option to post youtube videos work anymore.

I have tried at least 10 times tonight to post a youtube video...and it simply does not work. So yeah anyone know what is going on with that?

It worked for me just now. (see above). On this browser it links to U tube, rather than play directly on that screen here on WP (like it used to), but it still works.

I can't get it to even post an actual link, at best I can post the link and someone could maybe copy and paste it to find the video, but its just really frustrating when I am trying to show things like the song I am listening to this or that. I mean how many people actually go out of their way to click a link that you have to click to go to another web-page just to see what a fellow WP poster is listening to. I just wish I could post it directly in the thread like I could before with no problem.

To Ferris: So you cant see that video about 'whales once walked' that I posted above?

Someone on a thread complained that they could see a video that someone else posted.But I could see it.

The browsers are seeing these http links (mixed content)
in the code and are disabling all possible unsafe content on the page.

To get youtube videos to work in Chrome you need to click on the shield
to the right in the address bar and select Load unsafe scripts.

In Firefox, click on the lock icon to the left of the address bar, then show connection details,
then disable protection for now.

What you see on "Microsoft edge" is what I see. And then I can click on that blue box in the middle of that ghost image of the still pic of the video (the blue box that says "watch it on Utube", and it takes me to U Tube, and I can watch it. But I cant just watch it on the post on the WP site like I used to be able to.
