Mohammed, Saud open UAQ Autism Centre

The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, on Tuesday inaugurated the Umm Al Qaiwain Centre for Autism.
Sheikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, attended the inauguration of Autism Centre, a first of its kind on the federal level in UAE that specialises in training and educating individuals with autism following international best practices
The Centre can host between 100 and 150 cases. Initially it will cater to 55 cases, which will be increased gradually. Currently, there are 1,338 persons benefiting from the various rehabilitation programmes provided by local or federal autism centres.
