Whenever I comment, the thread stops. Only game threads go on.

Happens to me too. That, or my posts get unnoticed, while some members posts always get quoted or replied to whatever thread they reply in.

Post in the Donald Trump threads - those go on forever.

I seem to be a "thread killer," too.

I don't recall you ever commenting on my threads :(

But that's cool :D

^^ ah. Sometimes it's not death, but fulfillment! If people are reading through, that is.

If a thread's about a problem or issue, sometimes it can actually be summed up - now and then there is a real answer! And it can look like thread-killing if someone hits on that answer and sums it up really clearly :-) because people will read down to there, smack their foreheads, go "dang! That's IT!" and wander off, usually without posting a note of thanks because they want to get on with things.

So you might be a Good Witch (or Warlock) :-) and not even know it.

I'm a Warlock----but I wouldn't just slough off the Witch aspects of my self.

The problem is probably this: you're too nice.

If you start a thread with a title like "Are all Conservatives doo-doo heads?", or "Do all liberals have cooties?", or if your thread is any sentence at all that contains the word "gun", you will probably get tons of response.

I not only seem to be a thread killer, but sometimes I seem to be a thread starter. There have been a couple of times on WP where someone asks a questions and there's no comments for weeks or even months until I finally decide to answer only because no one else would.

For some reason being the first to reply makes me uncomfortable and embarrassed, unlike so many other people on YouTube who act like they deserve some kind of trophy.

Haha, not much of my business. I'm not an American kid, and I don't usually do political talk.

You comment a lot, but do you often start threads?

I've pretty much stopped. I don't get too many response, usually.

Once, right after Muhammad Ali passed away, I tried to start up a tribute thread for him. I got 3 responses.

Same thing happens here! I see a thread I want to comment on, so I do, and then next thing you know, nobody else comment. I always feel like I hurt someones feelings.

Something similar happens when I play video games. I ask a question, nobody answers, I say hi to people in the guild, nobody answers.

Kinda happens in real life, too.

A lot of gamer guys get shy around women. When a woman i dont know starts talking I get shy and can’t speak. The girl I play with now took me weeks to talk to her.

I often appear to be a thread killer particularly on another forum related to my interests. In reality though I am often simply the last person to post on a thread because I like to take time to think about what I want to say before I respond. Very often the conversation has come to a natural conclusion by the time I am ready to join in and everyone else has already moved on to something else.
