Heck no, Kip!

No way!

You're much more of a linguist than me. You're a very bright person---probably brighter than me in some respects.

You're probably more unconventional than me----because you're more artistic than me (not autistic LOL)

The first thing I noticed about you was your linguistic proclivities.

I was also envious because you had a full Van Dyke by the time you were 17. I can barely grow a peachfuzz mustache then.

Yep, Goldfish, I do come off as "clichéd" Sometimes, I even warn somebody that I will sound clichéd LOL

Yep. I probably would take the early train. I would have taken the early train when I was your age, too. I'm not a stuffy guy, though.

I have no training in counseling.

You forgot to mention Kips amazing nose kraftiekortie, I wish Kip wouldn't hide it from the world. I imagine Kip would be a very fun and interesting person to spend time with.

Kip is a very bright and sensible guy---no doubt about it.

And he's sort of a prodigy. Didn't he become a moderator when he was 17?

He also has excellent taste in women----based upon the pictures he used to use in his avatars.

There was another guy, too, who used to show pretty women in his avatars. I forgot his name, though.

When I first got here I honestly thought you were a sort of resident counselor or psychologist. Kind of looks like you're wearing a lab coat in your picture.

Freaked me out a little bit, like "what is this place going to be like?"

That jacket is a suit jacket which my mother HATES....just HATES.....

I like it, though.

The picture was taken at an Alaskan cruise in 2009.

Let me tell you what I do for a living: I'm a data-entry operator, and have been for the past 37 years with no promotions. I also work in a library part time, as a "circulation clerk."

I saw you mention your job after a month or two, also think I've seen you mention that you thought about being a monk at one point. Something I've also considered.
First impression was doctor though. And you don't freak me out at all. Really glad that you are here.

I thought about being a monk when I was 15, and I was on punishment.

I do admire some aspects of the Monastic life. I frequently think about a particular monastery in Ireland which looks over the sea, and has boulders for beds and pillows. It's about a 7th century monastery, I believe.

However, I don't believe, especially at 15, that I would have been able to fulfill the Chastity part of the Vows.

I think you are a likeable WP member and offer a well thought out and balanced perspective that positively contributes to the discussion.

You jacket is very nice as well. Atleast as far as I can tell from the photo.

i did become a mod aged 17 but i hardly think that has anything to do with being a prodigy :)

also you may be thinking of "catlover".

Seriously, you seem like a good person, i have never been insulted or pissed off by anything you've said.
