The Great Backyard Bird Count is happening this weekend, Friday through Monday, 16-19 February! It's happening worldwide, so no matter where you are, you can participate. :D

Here's the site:

http://gbbc.birdcount.org/

You can sign up in just a minute. You have to make a minimum of 15 minutes of observations at any one location (backyard, park, birdfeeder, etc.). Enter the species you saw, and they will be added to thousands of other records for a worldwide snapshot of bird populations. :D
