I got 130, and I click undecided a lot. I don't like it when these tests involve questions that, in order to answer them, you need to have friends or partners or at least some sort of regular social interaction. A lot of it doesn't apply.

You did better than me. I scored 92.

I felt really uncertain about nearly every question on the test. I suspect if I were to do the test many times on different days, I would get completely different results each time.

I got that too, same as I do with most of these reductionist self-assessed psych tests. I keep seeing these questionnaires with stuff like "people often tell me I'm cold / aloof / rude / insensitive / " so opting to disagree is logically my only option, because people very rarely tell me ANYTHING about my nature. But maybe I'm just picky and stick to a small number of polite people. I see problems like that in a lot of the questions, so I think the scope for distortion is pretty high, at least for me. I scored 79, but it could have been anything. It's only a free online screening test, with the usual warning that it's not diagnostic. A much better way to test me for alexithymia would be to give me some tasks that needed emotional savvy to get right.

I was interested by the question about "I like to consider my feelings as well as practicalities when making decisions about priorities" (something like that). No use as a question because although I like to, I don't think I actually do reflect on my feelings often enough. It just interested me because I thought I probably ought to do that more.

I barely scored high. Some of the questions I can't answer as I have never experienced them.

Enclosed is a (LINK) to a Huffington Post story that puts both "Alexithymia" and the Autism spectrum into perspective.

I got "high alexithymic traits" in all categories except for Restricted Imaginative Processes where I got "no alexithymic traits"

I got 110.
So I'm borderline alexithymic, just like I'm borderline autistic.
At least I'm consistent!

I might have answered wrong because I know I feel hurt at the moment. Maybe I used to be more alexithymic.

101-Possible alexthymia. That's surprising. While I'm a very practical and fact-based person, I do have emotions.

I scored 159, not surprised.

I'm stupidly bad when it comes to emotions and other people notice too. I'm not flat (I think?) and I'm the clown at work but when it comes to anything involving emotions, hoo boy. I have a cool coworker that helps me identify people's emotions or my own (which I am lacking it seems).

Me: I'm really angry at <insert jerkwad>! So mad!
Coworker: You're not mad, not mad at all. You're just annoyed, mild at best.
Me: Oh? Well.. I am.. slightly peeved at <insert dumbhead>! So mildly annoyed! ...I think?
