I always fall asleep when going somewhere. Doesn't matter if it's by car, train, boat or whatever. Unless it's dark outside, I just can't keep my eyes open
I used to connect it to the shaking - that a bumpy road would kinda rock me to sleep. I just recently figured out that it's probably more about the huge amount of visual information that I get in a very short time from looking out the window of a moving vehicle.
Just curious if anyone else does the same thing?

Yep. I fall asleep on the subway every day when I get a seat.

I also sleep on long car trips, too. I’ve had to fight sleep while I’ve driven.

drive a straight-piped mazda miata with coilovers and a gutted interior with buzzes and rattles galore.

guaranteed to not fall asleep there.
