A Sikhote-Alin meteorite ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikhote-Alin_meteorite ) estimated by researchers to have a potassium-argon "age" of 1.7 x 10(9) years ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17829120 ). One of our members who knows about "sciencey" stuff might know how to say that in common terms). But, generally speaking, it should be about the same age as the Solar System, or 4.568 billion years old.

I don't think anyone's got anything older than that ^ unless someone has auntblabby's pacifier

there is the tiniest grain of possibility, that in my lungs right now, is an air molecule that was once breathed out by Abe Lincoln.

why stop at ol' abe?

it's posssible that a few water molecules in the last drink you drank were also once drunk by dinosaurs in the triassic.

I am pretty sure I have some coins in my coin collection that are older than 1912 I know for certain I have one 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent, which was the very first year of the Lincoln Cent.

In my automobilia collection, the oldest pieces are original magazine advertisements for Dodge Brothers and Hupmobile cars circa late teens early 20's.

It wasn't mine, but I got to make a library archive grade preservation box for a Holy Bible printed in 1549 once. THAT was cool. :D

I also have a couple of old books from the 19th century that I have for sale in my eCommerce business, one from 1884 and another from 1899. Until someone buys them you can count them as mine I guess.
