I've thought long and hard about making a stereophonic audio recording in a place i'm familiar with that has a loud brown noise emanating from the air handlers, because every time i'm there I find the noise to be soothingly soporific, and if I could play it back over suitable speakers in surround sound [to simulate the aural ambience of the building's own brown noise] I might get a similar effect in my bedroom.
