In high school a couple of my friends got me to talk to this hot chick and I told her that I smelled bad and had poor hygiene. It just came out I dunno why and it felt awkward saying it. In response she said laughingly "you shouldn't tell me that." She eventually went on to tell my friends that I was weird and apoligized to me when she found out that they told me. Does anybody find themselves unintentionally blurting out awkward responses? I do it when I talk to girls

I used to do that in my young days. Now I am too quiet because I overcompensate.

Yes, I often say things I shoudn't. I can't seem to filter my thoughts for social acceptability. I am quiet until people get to know me. Then they either don't talk to me anymore, or they accept me as i am.

ha, you just reminded me of that time as a teenager when I was walking with my arm around a boy on a hot day and felt the need to inform him that I'd forgotten to put on deoderant
