Hi all:

I was giving a presentation at a monthly support group I hosted earlier this month on the subject of "Autistic Expressions", which went into various movies and tv series in which an autistic character was portrayed by someone who was not on the autistic spectrum. Being autistic myself, I felt the need to share this topic during the meeting with those who were there. It was interesting from the discussion that ensued after I talked about each movie (starting with Rainman) and tv series (The Good Doctor, etc.).

At the end of the presentation, we discussed the future of autistic characters and what needs to take place. What do you see as the future of Hollywood and tv series about the future of autistic characters and what needs to take place?

Thanks, Scott
