have any ever slipped by you?

I'm an artist, but currently working in the Post Office.

I sure wish I coulda passed the postal service memory test.

I probably didn't do so well in that part to be honest. The first 2 parts were more of a breeze. The last memory test was hard. From working at the post office I don't see how that test is really a determine factor for the job. You just need to know where the letters go in the box. All you have to do is learn the arrangement of the streets and try not to get confused with similar numbered streets.

I took the memory test 2 times and failed miserably both times [didn't get more than 55% right] and was told that was it, I could not take the test anymore, permanently disqualified for the position.

Sure, I'm only human. I have a new employer who wants some tasks done super fast so I'll have to be okay with not being thorough!

I am sure you outperform me in the exactitude of such work. I can be either "quick and dirty" or "slow but more precise," no other combos are available.

I don't have an "official" job title, but I consider myself a naturalist, conservationist, and biologist. I spend most of my time outdoors (in the forest or other natural habitats). I am most fascinated by fungi and plants, but I honestly love learning about anything in nature. I spend most of my hikes log flipping, scouring leaf litter for emerging fruiting bodies, and looking for native flora. My husband and I are also working towards becoming full time (permaculture food) forest gardeners and are currently getting moved out to an off-grid heavily-forested plot of land in the middle of nowhere. We also plan on eventually building an herbarium/fungarium so I can completely immerse myself in what I love.

I'm also a mixed-media artist, but it is not something I could ever do for a paycheck!

I've tried to hold down a "normal" career and almost every attempt has quickly ended in a terrible meltdown. I'm sure that my family thinks I'm just a lazy loser, but they really have no idea how much of a struggle the modern world can be for someone on the spectrum. I am very lucky to have a VERY understanding an supportive husband that has always got my back!

I wouldn't call it a career but I'm happy doing occasional programming contracts from home. I tried working in an office ( not programming ) and it made me sooooooo sick. I won't ever try that again.

I'm currently studying culinary arts so I suppose you could call me a(hopefully) soon to be chef and I do tutoring for those who are interested in learning to write code. Although I do occasionally make some side money doing web design here and there.

Not in any official capacity, but as a result of having pet C. nemoralis I've become quite an expert in them xD

Still in school, but hoping to be a priest. (yes, really!)

I'm a Database and Systems administrator for an engineering firm.
Which means I sit in front of a computer with headphones on most days

I've worked with some priests before (set up some networking in their church), it seems to be a rewarding career/life style.
