Does anyone want a friend? I just need one that’s on the spectrum, and will obviously understand more than people at school do. Thanks.

Hey, my name's Orion (actually that's just my username, but anyways). I'm 16, live in the USA, and am interested in the natural sciences but also trying to learn a bit more about history particularly in the middle east. What are your special interests?

Yello there, my name is Trent. I'm 17 going on 18, I am hardly interested in many things on a long-term basis; rather, I am deeply interested in various subjects for a short amount of time- usually a week. Topics include Kermit the Frog, television episodes, social media, police officers, SpongeBob, doing research on Disney Channel (as the programs that air today seem suckish and therefore I refuse to watch it); research topics mainly include criticism of said network; other topics include forums and certain television series (Alone Together, and as of today, Chrisley Knows Best).

Also, I'm high functioning in some areas.

I can be your friend if you're interested.

I seek for friends, genuine friends.
Actually, i think that's a more unpopular and generally unfit place.
You see where i am from, to be specific in rather rural area there.
Now, the problem is that especially at that age barely anyone of the kind we have here, especially younger people in germany will be on this forum. I wouldn't be able to go further than 10km without strong parent suspicion, 20 km at best, that's about 50k people total.
I tried searching...alot...about ways to get contact with a "high" percentage but couldn't find it. How do i actually get in contact with the local home sitting non obvious minority that does not seem to be particularly present online?

Hey I'm on the spectrum and I'm pretty chill with everything.
If you still want a friend just PM me and we can see if we're compatible. :D

I'm neurotypical but a quite weird one.
I really want to makes friends with people at my age who is on the spectrum, so please allow me to reply here ;)
I've been researching autism as my special interest for quite a few years, so I guess I'll "understand more than people at school do" ?
I'm 17 and I'm Chinese, currently applying for USA college. I'm interested in probably everything, mainly good at math, computer science, and psychology. I like children's literature.

You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits.

I'm pretty sure about being neurotypical though, since my neurodiverse traits never caused me any trouble and I get along well with other neurotypical people.

Maybe this means I can get along well with neurodiverse people, too? I never get a chance to prove this because in China schools don't enroll students with ASD and therefore I have no neurodiverse people around me.

So I am here!

Hey serpen, I'd be down to talk to you. I'd be nice to talk to an NT who comes closer to understanding ASD than most.
