I was never really into Sesame Street. I was more of a Barney girl. I had several Barney VHS tapes.

I watched it when I was an older kid---though I would never have admitted it to my "buddies."

Sesame Street started when I was about to turn 9 years old.

I loved, loved, LOVED Sesame Street as a girl. I would watch episodes of it on a daily basis. I also collected a lot of Sesame Street stuffed animals, books, and toys. I would go to the local library and borrow books and VHS tapes from there. I still have a picture of myself hugging my Grover doll when I was 3.

I watched Sesame Street when I was little. It was back in the Late 70s before I was in school. I also watched it in the summer with my little sister until I was 12.

No.

I was in high school when it started and we didn't get it anyway. I have no idea when someone started a public tv station that we could get here.

So in my entire life, I've never watched a single show of Sesame Street. I have seen bits and pieces from time to time, though.

I think I watched it when I was little but I don't really remember it. It's ashame that it will end because president Trump is abolishing PBS funding

Yes I did, I grew up in the 90s so that is when I was watching it. I remember seeing some later on and didn't like some of the changes they had made like the elmo show segment, like I liked it better when he was just a character on the show. I have no idea what its like now, but yeah I did watch it quite a lot as a kid.

Ew no.
I found it weirdly condescending and fairly irritating.

I didn't watch it very often, just once in a while. I did watch a lot of PBS though. I remember quite a lot of Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow. Also Carmen Sandiego and Ghost Writer. Can't remember what else...I know they showed some of those weird Canadian Broadcasting shorts, like The Cat Came Back.

Actually, I heard on the radio last Friday, the house overruled it! PBS is going to get -more- government funding now than they did last year.

The Norwegian version started airing the year I turned 14, so no, I had no interest in it and have never watched it.

I have watched some funny spoofs on YouTube though!

Yes. It debuted on November 10, 1969-my 5th birthday. I was in kindergarten.

I also used to watch The Electric Company. I liked that much more than I liked Sesame Street.

As an adult, I watched "Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat." No surprise for a cat lover with a special love of Siamese!

I watched Sesame street on our big box of a TV back in the 70s

"Can you tell me how to get...how to get to sesame street"

Big Bird, Snuffy and Mr Hooper will stay with me forever
