So my 16 year old has used drugs a few times. Now she is on meds, tonight was the first time I saw her on the night time med and she was a zombie. I over reacted I said she looked high and told her if she couldn’t provide the wrapper we were going to the ER.

I need to calm down a lot

Was this something which was prescribed for her (yes, that's an "obvious" question).

If not, then I would question her further.

Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. She's given you cause to be concerned by doing drugs in the past, and if this was prescribed medication then it should be simple for her to show you the bottle. Just because she may not have liked it doesn't mean you were wrong.

Even with prescription drugs being a zombie is a bad thing, maybe she needs some dose tuning. I actually don't think you overreacted, given the circumstances your reaction seems adequate to me.
