You can quickly figure out who was popular in high school at your workplace or church. I work directly with four people who were the top popular people in their school peer groups. Many more of those people fill our staff.

They always have to know who is doing what, bragging about their offspring, well connected.

The same stuff as HS with the exception of having families.

I don't. I was alluding to how people don't change that much from high school.

At our ages Kraftie, we are probably quite accepting of who we are.

Off today. One last training for teachers for the year. Us aids are off.

LOL high skewl never ends. One thing is true that I can identify bullies and stop them in their tracks.

Most people act like they are still in high school. They like to gossip and spread rumors. They ostracize the oddballs and have cliques.

It's always been my observation that the most popular people in H.S. don't go on to do anything interesting or successful with their lives.

I wouldn't say that's universally true, but it's true a good portion of the time.

Most of those people usually peak in high school. I'd rather be not very popular the first 18 years of my life and then have a good rest of my life honestly. I can't imagine how sad it would be to reminisce on the past your whole adulthood.
I was voted class clown but I wasn't popular by any means though.

It’s generally social confidence, extroveredness and being good at sport that makes people popular in school.

Certainly wasn’t looks at my school.

Oh, and if you’re funny, you can get in anywhere.

I put a peg on my nose when going intothe long drop at school camp when I was 13, some popular girls laughed and asked me to sit with them. I was as shocked as you are.

I didn’t end up being friends with them because I thought I didn’t deserve cool friends. Self sabotage and regret.
