Had to go there... the great internet debate of 2018... I wonder if there will be any pattern among spectrum folks.

I hear Laurel clear as day. I can't seem to hear Yanny no matter how hard I try! So weird.

Laurel, although I can hear Yanny -if- I set the volume low enough to where the lower pitches are inaudible.

I get the feeling that this is more of a test of a person's lower frequency range rather than higher frequency.

I hear both but I hear mostly laurel.
Like 10% Yanny and 90% Laurel.

FYI, the spectrogram shows "yanni" lives in the upper frequencies above where "laurel" lives. IOW yanni was superimposed atop laurel, in the same sound file. it is a TRICK, I tell you!

On that particular video ….100 percent Laurel.

But who knows?

If I listened to it through head phones, or on a different speaker it might sound more Yanni-ish.

On the morning news it did sound more like Yanni. But it was very different. Nasal and higher pitched.
