I personally don't and don't really see how people do. Their mouths are so nasty.

I like being licked by a dog on my hands and feet. That means the dog's petting me back. I just don't like being licked by a dog on my face.

I don't mind as long as I can wash right after. I don't understand when people get licked and then go on about their business. That's just gross.

I don't like it because of sensory issues. I hate the feel of being licked anywhere except my penis & I only want my girlfriend to lick that. I don't like the feel of a cat rubbing against my leg either thou.

Don't like it either. I remember seeing a woman eating an ice cream and every other lick she would let her dog lick he ice cream. Still gives me shivers of discomfort. Yuk.

Exactly

It's how they show affection. Of course I like that they like me, I love dogs.

I hate that and also when they jump on me. I have a strong sensitivity to their barking. Another words my life is a lot less stressful when they are not around.

My dog-owning neighbour has fractured her humerus. I am dog walking her 4 huge dogs all week.  :| Thankfully, they are not the jumpy or licky types.

....... Edited to add.... one did have a stomach bug though.... yuk for cleaning up after a dog.... feel sick now.... why oh why must I always volunteer myself for stuff. :(

It's always really gross when a dog licks you in the face right after they've eaten.

Some dog owners don't understand this. They think you're a horrible animal hater just because you don't appreciate getting slobber that smells like expired fish stew and little chunks of dog food in your mouth. :eew:

Having walked these 4 dogs all week fish stew and dog food is the good stuff, the stuff these dogs try to scoff when they are out for walks is absolutely revolting.

I will tolerate it on my hands because I know that's how they show affection, but I will then wash my hands immediately afterward. My rules for licking with my dog, really, are no face and no feet - I'll tolerate anything else. And absolutely no eating or drinking any food his mouth has been on or any French kisses (one of my childhood friends would do that with her dog) - I know where else that tongue has been :eew:
