I've never told a joke - strange ?

I've written a few things that people have thought funny(peculiar or otherwise) but never told an actual joke. I have no idea where jokes come from.

Not all people tell jokes.

Occasionally I have come up with a joke in regards to something going on around me, but mostly I retell jokes I've heard from others, or read somewhere.
IRL I don't tend to tell jokes outside of my family, but I have posted the occasional joke on some forums. So most people probably think I don't tell jokes. I do, I'm just not comfortable telling them to most.
It's embarrassing if no one laughs. It makes me feel awkward and dumb.

No, it's just your personality. I know a lot of people, aspie and neutrotypical, who don't tell jokes. Me, personally, I love telling jokes.

I'm not into scripted jokes out of a book. I prefer talking about humorous daily life events, such as the funny things pets do.

^^^Yeah....that's pretty much me, too.

I'm no good at those "some guy walks into a bar" sort of jokes.

I don’t like jokes. I get a little uncomfortable when someone tells me one because then I have to make sure I laugh appropriately even though I probably won’t find it funny.

I prefer humor to be spontaneous.

I try to be funny wherever & whenever I can.

I'm not saying that I succeed at this.
