Awkward moment?

Yesterday I was in a supermarket and a random stranger came up to me and said,is that your mum at the check point she is having trouble with her card, so I looked around and nobody else was at the check point,only my mum.
I went up and everything was fine, what ? It was so strange.

Maybe the stranger thought she was having problems cuz it was going slowly or something. Some people think that if the system doesn't work immediately there is a problem with the card. Lots of systems at different places are different & some can take longer than others. Some may work in a couple seconds while others may take a couple minutes.
