I'm working on a WrongPlanet.net forum widget for all you tiger people. If you'd use this widget, please respond to this thread.

well, I guess that would depend on what it does

I have Tiger, and I would give it a try. I've only found one really useful widget so far (fontviewer)

Does this design function only apply to Tiger, and not
x.2.8?

very pretty!

Ghosthunter, widgets only work with Tiger. There is a way to run them in Panther 10.3.9 through a program called Amnesty, but I am pretty sure there is no way to run them in 10.2.8.

A Mac OS Widget is "a small specialized desktop application that provides easy access to frequently used functions or provides some visual information." In this case, it looks like it displays recent WrongPlanet topics on your desktop.
