I can see it in some of Dan Akyroyd's earlier stuff.

Saw a feature on the History channel, Air Aces on Canadian WWII fighter ace George Beurling, my thought was this "outsider" sounds alot like an aspie to me, even more so when they interviewed his fellow pilots. read on see what you think.

I don't beleave anyone without a real diagnosis though when it comes to celeb amature home diagnosing. fun to think about though.

Most of the good stuff is left out of the wiki artical though. I'm sure it will air again soon.

I heard from my aunt that Adam Young from Owl City is an aspie. She used to be his neighbor.

Adam Lanza, by so damn much.

Seriously, he made an entire world stop and talk. It's still going, and it probably won't for a long time.

He's publicly stated as much as well:

I guess there was a reason why I was drawn to his music... :P

(Wow, this is an old thread...! 8O )

Actress Daryl Hanna is about the only female I know of that I think there is a reasonable possibility: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daryl_Hanna

I believe she was diagnosed as a child with "mild autism", and her description of herself at age 18 sounds very Aspie (from an interview I saw of her).

Make a google research.
You'll find out that Einstein, Mozart, Da Vinci, etc. not only had AS, but even ADHD and dyslexia.
Same for Mark Twain.
Van Gogh had AS, bipolarism and schizofrenia.
The same goes for many other famous people.
I consider this all stupid assumptions that the web community had made when autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other disorders have become "famous".
Do we have evidences that Mozart, Da Vinci, etc. had oversensority issues? Do we have evidences that they couldn't understand non-verbal language? Do we have other evidences that they were autistic/had ADHD/dyslexia? No, we don't. They are supposed to have Asperger's/ADHD/dyslexia, etc. just because they had "special abilities".
Nowdays almost everyone who's famous is labeled by the web community with a condition, just because they are talented.

As for women who might have AS I offer the following:

Courtney Love: Diagnosed as autistic at age 3

Angelina Jolie: her mannerisms and behavior before she divorved Thornton were very Aspieish

Britney Spears: her current way of life seems like possible AS

Feel free to name any other women that I may have overlooked

Of those, the only one that seems at all possible is Courtney Love. Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie are just weirdos. ASD and being weird are assuredly not mutually exclusive, but one does not entail the other.

Yay, really old threads :D

As for the actual question...

I'd have to say...

Me.

...

Eventually.

Cristiano Ronaldo? He's the last person I'd expect to have Asperger's.

I don't know much about Tarantino, but the others strike me as "eccentric" rather than autistic. May is probably the closest.

By "eccentric" I mean "deemed strange by society". For example, Murray is seen as extraordinarily arrogant. Fry is an erudite introvert with a broad general knowledge who had to hide his homosexuality when growing up. Cobain could listen to the Beatles for hours on end and had an extensive knowledge of punk, but didn't seem to have much social impairment.

I always think it's funny that certain celebrities seem to either have every diagnose there is, in adition to have said almost everything wise in the world.
I am of course thinking about Newton and Einstein.

Cristiano Ronaldo? He's the last person I'd expect to have Asperger's - you should have seen him when he doesnt get his way.

Tarentino got the nod after his monkey interview recently

Andy Murray is not arrogant imo. Quite the opposite - he has always been passive and reserved. To the point where he feels bad to win sometimes. He has changed that recently and imo will win the Aus open sunday night
