If someone does NOT want to be hugged and another person comes along and FORCES it upon them, then it is not good either. I have yet to meet the "assaultive hugger" yet, though.

And when you think about what schoolyard bullies are still getting away with these days, this stuff makes your blood boil even more. But its all a matter of what people notice and what they don't. A school staff member is more likely to notice somebody unknowingly breaking a zero-tolerance rule in a harmless way (and obviously not trying to be discrete about it) than the punk that corners his victims in the hallway when they are alone.
