Hello there! My name is Roland. I am a 28 Year old Male.
I am a New Zealander. I live in Taupo, a small town in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand.
I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (High Functioning) in September 2007. I have had suspicions (that I had it) for many years but kept getting false-negatives. I finally met someone who knows how to assess it properly, especially with looking past the surface impression. Receiving the diagnosis has given me closure and relief, and I have learned more about how it specifically affects me, enough to explain past and present behaviour. 
I am living independantly. I am looking for work with the help of the Supported Employment Agency (for people with disabilities) and would prefer something that makes use of my High IQ and talents for Maths and Puzzles. 
I would like more social contact in my life. My primary desire is some form of relationship with a Woman. I currently would want to feel loved, receive affection and have a sense of companionship, this could change with time. I have no experience at present (never been in a relationship, was too shy), maybe I will look at developing that. I don't know what other social contact I would like, the kind I have from family and would have through work and such things as shopping may be sufficient. I may look at social clubs when my Income is high enough.
