With the Ont. and C.A and women being permitted do you mean Canada? If not what country?

Yes, Canada. Women, which includes the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge, have been free to go topless for the last 16 years.
That is good. I do not really know why I care about this issue so very much however. I suppose in a place like Canada it makes sense to have equal laws. I would find it raather sexist to not allow women to not wear a top if she chooses not too for men often do so. in response what another poster said I can see things going slippery slope very fast

If you look at some of the major monuments in Washington, DC

General Sherman's: http://www.dcmemorials.com/index_indiv0000735.htm

The First Army Division Monument: http://www.dcmemorials.com/index_indiv0000870.htm

100 years ago, people apparently weren't offended by a nice, perky pair of tits.

However, this Boy Scout memorial from 1964:

Something about the Boy Scout Memorial does seem wildly inappropriate. I wonder why no-one ever said anything?

I was reminded of a debate my class was made to do about art. Girls did the photo boys and me did the painting(I am a girl but I wanted to do the painting because I couldn't find a decent starting point for my side on photo) It was of a saint playing the violn while angel babies appeared to her. I was on the defending side. One guy on the opposing side (I think it was only me, a defending boy and the opposing boy who were active. I think they may have been the only boys in the group or the others didn't have much to say.) He said, among other thngs that the picture was pornographic because the angels were naked. I went on to say I did disagree, as it was not exploitive and that there where many dfferent ways nudity could be used in art ( think I used the nude Pax and those babies in the painting behind me.) The gallery we went to see next had a lot of nudity, so I hope he discarded the nudity=pornography notion or else I fear he may have been quite offended!

I agree with EtherealBallet.
Nudism preaches upon acceptance and desensitization of the female/male body. I agree with that.

Best Regards,

Jake

I support women going topless...after a rigorous application and licensing process!

Teach men more self control, so that women can feel comfortable without their shirts on in the first place. lol, seriously. This is why I became a lesbian.

It does seem that more and more women are turning to Lesbianism.

I have to admit, though: you ladies really do have great bodies. If I had been a woman, then I would be a Lesbian, too.

It is rather a puzzlement, isn't it?

Boobies are to be regarded as such dirty, awful, offensive things that they need to be hidden from view in the modern Anglophone world.

But, women go to a lot of trouble to create the impression that they have big, impressive knockers, and dress to draw attention to them. Men aren't supposed to stare at them, or that is sexual harassment. And, women are disappointed if men don't stare at them.

Men are not biologically the same as women. No matter what hormones you inject in a man you will not be able to get them to lactate. For women they are most definite a defining factor of their sex role in biology.

For women it is an orifice, for men it is not.

Covering an orifice (and functional gland under it) makes sense. To protect one's own biological parts.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_Scout_Memorial

Quote:
The sculpture consists of three bronze figures: a Boy Scout in the center wearing a uniform stepping forward and carrying a walking stick in his proper left hand. Flanking him are two larger allegorical figures of a man and woman. They represent "American Manhood and Womanhood and the ideals they will pass onto the youth." To the Boy Scout's proper right side is the male figure, nearly nude, who carries a bundle of leaves and drapery in his proper left arm. Part of the drapery blows across his middle as he strides forward with his proper right leg. To the Scout's proper left side is the female figure who holds a torch in her proper left hand that has a gold-colored flame. Her proper left hand extends slightly and her palm is facing upward and she strides forward on her proper right leg. The three figures are mounted on a hexagonal-shaped base (62 x 92 x 98 in.) and in front of the sculpture is a circular pool of water....

The three figures represent various concepts. According to the National Park Service the Boy Scout "represents the aspirations of all past, present, and future Scouts throughout the world. The male figure exemplifies physical, mental, and moral fitness, love of country, good citizenship, loyalty, honor, and courage. He carries a helmet, a symbol of masculine attire. The female figure symbolizes enlightenment with the love of God and fellow man, justice, freedom, and democracy. She holds the eternal flame of God's Holy Spirit."...

I don't quite buy that. The man's expression seemeth to say "Yeah, I'm naked. So, what are you looking at?" The lack of so much as a tiny bulge in the genital region would symbolize emasculation. Indeed, he carries a broken phallic symbol in his left hand. I don't perceive "physical, mental, and moral fitness, love of country, good citizenship, loyalty, honor, and courage" anywhere in the figure. And, the helmet is a "symbol of masculine attire?" Oh, cum now. The broken phallic symbol is still stiff, he is handling it, and would seem to be ejaculating a huge stream of semen into a vagina, which the helmet actually symbolizes.

The boy has a good grip on what is obviously a very long phallic symbol.

The woman seems to have a rather confused expression on her face. Her form is not to fully feminine--she is broad shouldered, muscular, and her titties are small and mannish.

Image

Her right hand is in wanking position. I don't see where she "symbolizes enlightenment with the love of God and fellow man, justice, freedom, and democracy" at all.

And, that flame in her left hand? "The eternal flame of God's Holy Spirit?" Really? I looks more like a conjuring trick. Her right hand says "See? Nothing Here!" while her right hand holds up the symbol of what the left hand would be stroking, if it could.

Maybe that flame is some sort of personal gratification device. The man has a painful look on his face, not from the hemorrhoids, maybe from that "flame" thing.

Here is one lady, Miss Chelsea Charms, who went took the desire to out-boob the competition to an extreme level

Anyone who gawks is a sexist pig. And, anyone who doesn't gawk is also being offensive.
