Hospital Repeats Wrong-Sided Brain Surgery

I'm glad i'm not a brain surgeon, because i'd be doing this all the time... i totally can't remember which is left or right...

A friend of my mother's who had knee surgery took a black Magic Marker and wrote ==>DO THIS ONE! on one leg, and ==>NOT THIS ONE! on the other. At the time I thought "How OTT is that?"

It's not OTT when it's your body and you're going to be asleep when someone else cuts into it!! !

It's very disturbing how often this happens. It shouldn't happen at all.
