ok, so what is hand flapping?

I have heard of a common stim called hand flapping, and i have no idea what that is. can someone elaborate?

Its a type of stim, in which you move your hands around by the wrist. Here's a video. (sorry, but it's kind of short. if you want more, just search "hand flapping' on youtube).

That looks like shaking rather than flapping. It's no wonder that I couldn't visualize what "hand flapping" was. "Hand flapping" would be holding your arms still while moving your hands by the wrists.

I used to do when I was younger. I still could if I wanted but I have a bad wrist that hurts if I do that.
My bro still does it from time to time though.
