If they're all automatic I'd say 960 absolutely. I dug around for one before I got my V50, pretty much trading the oodles of space for surprisingly nice efficiency & 6 speed.

850s & V70s are also quite good.

There's far to much emphasis that goes into cutting and chopping.

I blame it on cookery shows.

As a cook, I don't know. I take slicing very seriously. I preach to other cooks, fr. Fortunately my housemate has the same fetish, and the skills to keep ultra sharp knives.

I guess anything can be overemphasized.
