Right now, I am both hungry and not hungry despite eating a light lunch earlier today.

I need a special humidity-evacuating oven so I can bake some old cassette tapes with "sticky shed" syndrome.

trying to determine the best manufacturer for replacement front struts on a 1999 ls400. KYB struts seem like good quality, not sure if they're OE though. don't care for lowering, stance or any of that other crap that kids like to do to LSs. i just want the best possible ride.

i took a picture of my existing front suspension assembly earlier today and removal/installation seems simple enough. looks like the only bolts to deal with are the three that hook onto the top of the strut tower, and the one bolt that passes through the strut and attaches it to to the knuckle. what gives me the most pause is not knowing the correct torque specs, you only seem to find those in the repair manuals, which for this car are even more expensive than the damn struts themselves.

there's no evidence to indicate that the plugs were ever changed, but the engine runs great and ignition work is too nerve wracking for me anymore, especially on a distributorless system like mine.

upon looking more closely it seems i'll have to unbolt the upper control arm to allow the strut to come out more easily, which involves undoing a cotter pin and removing a strange castellated nut which i have never seen before.

drat.

I've discovered a bread that makes me feel stoned.
Is that possible?
I don't usually eat bread because I'm gluten intolerant and I hate the texture, but this was an organic spelt sourdough, and I've been existing on a liquid diet and I was craving something a little more solid but still soft so I thought I would give it a try.
But it makes me peace out, man.
I think I'm addicted.
I keep eating it to test out if this is real or just my imagination.
I've heard some grains can have an opioid effect.
Or has someone spiked this loaf?
Anyway, not caring! :jester:

^ you're right, maybe it's a carb high, since my carb intake has been so low.

it appears elon musk has found out that mass-producing cars from the ground up is harder than literal rocket science.
