I just went out with my mom all afternoon.
We've been walking for over 4 hours. Browsing and buying stuff.
Mostly my shoes because my current pair
s are a bit worned out, and one of them had been broken for months. Well, that's what usually happens about every 2-10 months of most footwear I own.
At one point, we went to a local fast food branch. Went and ordered stuff, then we ate.
Mom had to go for a while. She left her tablet with me while I ate.
After I ate, I noticed the tablet isn't there. I got a bit nervous and possibly pissed.
When my mom came, I went and told her that her tablet's missing.
... Only to find out she took it.
Lol, either I didn't remembered she took it, or I didn't noticed her.
Then I got annoyed at myself.
Felt rather stupid for a moment.
Afterwards, meh.
Just more walking, browsing, and buying. Then we eventually went home.
Just for reference, I just failed at writing the essentials of the English past tense. I'm learning Portuguese right now, and I wish I could write in it as well as you write in English.
We'd say didn't remember and didn't notice, but we'd say have remembered and have noticed. It seems to change with negation, but only sometimes.
