I think that we should alter the dating system.
Not sure how to word it, really, but basically call this year "018" rather than 2018. And continue from there.

today i:

passed a ferrari on a highway on-ramp in a 28 year old camry, nearly ran over my phone twice, went to carpinteria and was disappointed by the selection of dvds there, made burgers, changed air filters, scheduled a wheel alignment appointment, took the dog out for a drive, separated my clothes, and loaded furniture onto a truck.


it was a good day.
