I am ready to kick the bucket.

Does any one out there have any idea how to upload an image saved in a Photobucket album to a reply page? I think Cockney rebel had some instructions but I can not locate them now. I can follow detailed instructions but I cannot find any in the Photobucket Help page specific to my situation.

Thank you

1. In the My Album section of Photo Bucket choose the picture you want to post.
2. Beaneath the picture you have 4 options:
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

3. Choose the 4th option called IMG Code -
4. with your cursor, highlight (or select) all text in the box to the right of IMG Code. It will automatically be copied.
5. Now go to the reply box on WP (or wherever) where you want to post the picture.
6. At the top of the reply box, click on the third icon from the left (mountains with sun)
7. A blue box will appear. In that blue box you will see http://
8. Right click and paste the image code that you copied from your photo bucket in that blue box following the http://
9. Next, click okay when prompted
10. Click "Submit" at bottom of reply box as usual when posting.

PM me if you like, if you need more help. Good Luck.

Well, I had a meltdown and then I hardened up, and I must say I am proud of myself.

I do not have a lot of patience in areas where I do not have natural talent. I work hard in many areas in which I do not shine.

I envy the very bright who are able to process very technical information and get it exactly right in the first place in a very short period of time. I consider myself a basically logical and rational person but only in a limited sphere. The rest does not come naturally. I have to practice over and over. I have to experiment, and sometimes I have to acccept less than what I thought I should know. Sometimes I have to work it out for myself. I want to thank MeganVegantoast for her suggestions as she got me onto the right path. There were some forks in the road so I had to take some wrong turns before I found my way back to start again. I also thank my IRM for nudging me on, as S/HE has always done. My picture is downloaded and now I have a fairly good idea as to how to do it again.

Dear Cosmiccat:

As soon as I entered my latest post here I saw yours. Now I will be able to use the Photobucket after all. I must say I wish you were at the helpdesk at the Photobucket Website help page. I think I analyze so much I miss the point, like when prompted for the URL on the green space above the white text in the Post Reply I neglected to click the "pop up window line" to allow pop ups. When I did this the blue text box appeared. I thought it was too simple just to type in that horribly lengthy URL and then hit the enter button and it would work. It all sounded too good to be true!

But it worked, just as you said it would. Just so long as the URL is EXACT. Again, thank you for your helpful suggestions. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! :D

This is the first time I have ever used a smiley. I surprise myself sometimes.

I was a yellow bellied woodpecker once myself. And before that an emu egg.
WP was my first experience with the internet, so I was overwhelmed for a while.
Merry Christmas to you as well, and a Very Happy New Year. :D
