My mom used to play the trumpet and the guitar. Now my brother plays the trumpet she had and I play the guitar (both of which had been passed on to her).

Do you play any instruments?

I think that would be to Hawai'i, from Kansas.

Same question.

I'd love to go back to Hawai'i. When we went, we stayed in a cabin in the rainforest, and I think that's my favorite place I've ever been. I'd probably rather go somewhere I've been and loved than somewhere new, I get really anxious when I don't know exactly what to expect.

Same question.

I really want to go to the UK and to also meet my penpal in South America.

Mac, PC, or something else?

Salted, preferably buttery. I can't stand sweet popcorn, like kettle corn or caramel corn.

What's your favorite kind of popcorn?

Mach 2.1 - I got bumped onto the Concorde, London to NY, back in the late 1980s. Total surprise, and it was right before Christmas.

The two coolest things I recall are (1) that we were high enough up that you could see the curvature of the earth and the darkening of the sky towards the ionosphere, and (2) we landed in NY an hour before we left London (local time).

Since I was living with a much loved probably-also-Aspie at the time I took very detailed notes about our altitude, airspeed, everything I could think of (the plane displayed stats at the front of the cabin, 8) , ) so he could have the closest thing to a seat next to me. No cellphones then so no pix. But I'll never forget it.

(Edit in: oopsie. It was BA001, how cool is that, and so help me, after we landed and as we taxied in, I was on the "good" side of the plane and got to see BA002 - Concorde NY to London - taxi past on their way out!! !)

(God, those were the days.)

What's the greatest height and/or depth you've ever reached, while still standing on the Earth?

Mac, all the way! (I’m prejudiced. I used to work in the Bawlmer call center.)

No, it’s how I always heard the natives of Baltimore pronounce the name of the city. (And I always thought the PA Dutch, mixed with the Filthydelphia, Noo Yawk, Bawlmer, Warshington, and Picksburg dialects were hard to handle. If you want real fun, try dealing with cheddar heads (M’waukee) dialects.
