I've seen it and it is cute. I also liked the fact that Dave's house number was 1958 - the year the Chipmunks were created. xD

And, on a side note, I always knew vaccuum cleaners were evil; I think Alvin and Theodore would agree with me. ;)

...Yeah , I've wondered if they do thing with tapes for it , now .
Also , three different young actors are credited as Alvin , Simon , & Theodore's voices . I guess they still may have sped/manipulated their voices somehow ?????????
In the original version , I believe Ross Bagsadarian Sr. ( who was " David Seville " also ) was all three Chipmunks , with the tape sped up different for each one??

I have not seen the movie yet but I did use to watch the cartoon show from the 80's and liked it.

I had some chipmunk tapes when I was a kid also.

Ewww. Not to be a troll, but to me this looked like the most annoying film released since "Daddy Day Camp." Or "Bratz." Take your pick.

I can hardly believe this movie was as big a hit as anyone would've not predicted. I haven't seen it, and I probably don't wanna. (Same goes with the Underdog movie, which, probably not coincidentally, also starred Jason Lee, even though that film kinda bombed.)

This movie has grossed $176 million domestically to date, likely will surpass
the $183 million domestic gross of The Simpsons Movie.

combined with Alvin and the Transformers, it's nice to see Hollywood finding new ways to rape my childhood.
