There is a false notion that humans NTs are more savage then animals. Animals only kill to survive but humans kill for X number of reasons. Humans are environmentally unfriendly but animal live in perfect harmony with the environment. However animals can be very territorial and take more then what they need if it means more mating right to female of their species. The only main difference is that animals cannot capitalise on so many of the earth’s resources like human can. If I lion could dig the oil out of the ground and use the energy for its own gain, sure they would do so.

Indeed animal can be very un-environmentally friendly. Take for example elephants. They can strip the bark away bark from trees then die of hunger because the killed the tree. It is only after thousands of years of evolution that a balance is reached.

This balance has yet to be achieved with human kind. Humankind has yet to learn from their mistakes such a global warming. Yes humankind might kill off more then half the planet and make a mess of it but eventually a balance will be achieved.

Or we'll die out. Either one is possible.
