I'm wondering if there's any other songs out there that are just like.....you know totally Aspie. Like "Screw people." I mean something along the lines of Stained Glass Eyes by Elliott Smith.

People sink your boat
When you cut a tragic figure
They drink their lemonade
And throw you a line

Boil your problem down
To yes or no, what's the matter?
They bomb your promenade
And this makes it shine

So you must play the comic
If they want one
And describe their moment
When they're in one

People pass you by
Passing up the chance to know you
They're irregular
In the usual way

You should crack a smile
Once in a while, it makes you pretty
It makes you want to give them
A piece of your mind

But they can't be people
Not if I'm one
If I have to be like them
I'd rather be no one

Couldn't make the scene
Not with all the people looking
All these connoisseurs
On guard all the time

Rather spend the day
Blank as hell by the window
Looking out of my
Stained glass eyes

"A Routine Day" by Klaatu has always seemed pretty independent-minded to me:

It started off a routine day
I got through the morning in the usual way
I caught the bus on time
Good morning, Mr. Driver, drive
As I sat inside my overcoat I clutched my cane
And pressed my nose against the foggy window pane
Ho hum
The life I lead would even make a dead man yawn

Midday comes
I break for lunch
With my sandwich and a beer I go on a hunch
To the park where I hope to find
A little bit of peace of mind
As I sat there on a bench amidst the rodent race
I felt a strange sensation that without a trace appeared
But then as quickly disappeared again

So tell me what's the bloody point of playing the game
With so much to lose yet so little to gain
You sell your life away
Can't you see you're just a cog working like a dog
You trade your future for a dead-end job
That's full of routine days
Routine days

I race the clock to the end of the day
The paycheck in my pocket makes me feel okay
But was it worth the grind
Just to keep from falling behind
As I stand here in the queue behind a foul cigar
My face discreetly buried in a book on Mars
And I'm waiting on the pier 'til Charon comes

I've written songs about being autistic.

The Doors

People are strange
When your a stranger
Faces look ugly
when you're alone

You get it. I totally identify with this song exept where he sings about women. I am a woman so I'd replace it with men.
