I'm (trans) male, 26, from South East England. He/him. I'm genderfluid but I present mostly just as a simple guy. I have had chest surgery. I don't plan on having any other surgeries. Bi/Pan/Queer. I live alone with no pets (but I'd love to have a dog if I could). I'm a college student still trying to get my GCSEs and the likes as I failed them at school 10 years ago. I'm disabled/chronically ill so I don't work. I'm sex/BDSM-positive and 420/drug-positive. I enjoy affection/cuddling/romance, but also enjoy my space. A good balance, not too much, but not too little! I am left wing, but I am not an extremist. I am monogamous. I don't really like kids and I don't plan on having kids.

I'm always wearing black as I'm alternative/punk/goth. I like tattoos and piercings. I have short ginger hair and I wear glasses. I don't have any facial hair yet but I hopefully will one day! I'm an average weight, but I'm in the middle of losing some more weight (hopefully).

I like anime, video games, cosplay, conventions, music, languages, linguistics, sci fi shows like Orphan Black and Star Trek, cartoons like Steven Universe, parapara dancing, dogs, memes, plushies, and all sorts of other nerdy stuff (I'm not a movie nerd or comic nerd but I like some Netflix series and movies based off of comic book characters). I want to take up knitting/crocheting some day.

My music tastes vary. I can like anything from heavy metal, to classical, and hardstyle and hardcore, to 90s and 00s pop.

What I'm looking for in a mate:
- Possibly bi/pan/queer or has no preference over genitals and other body parts
- Monogamous
- Age 21-35
- Nerdy (into anime, video games and conventions and the likes hopefully)
- Sex/BDSM-positive (I don't mean hypersexual. I mean educated and positive views about sex, sexual health and BDSM.)
- 420 positive even if you don't like consuming it yourself
- Lives within Europe
- Likes cuddles/affection/romance and gives it just as much as receiving
- Doesn't want children

Anybody outside of Europe would be a bit of a waste of time as I don't plan to travel that far.

I'll send a photo if we get talking and hit it off well. I don't post my face publicly on forums like this.

This is kind of a more "test the waters" type deal. If I someone was interested, I'd prefer them to be in the continental US (preferably the South or Midwest, just due to location). I'd like to talk a little bit before feeling comfortable doing things like Skype or whatever. I REALLY like guys who aren't afraid to take initiative. So don't be shy if I am interesting to you: I'm not going to be mean or anything!

Anyhow, onto my description!

Looks (and stuff): I'm 23-year-old straight female. I'm about 5'6, or 5'7 when not really slouching. I'm a "big" girl over 200 pounds, probably at 230 or so, but I'm trying to lose weight since I was skinny back in high school. My eyes are green/blue and I have long brownish-blond hair. I'm told a lot that I have a pretty face, but I don't necessarily believe that. I have Asperger's, Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD (but being treated for it).

My personality: I'm an eccentric and equally eclectic individual. I'm an empath and can pick up on the emotions around me very easily. I've got a quirky sense of humor, and I think I'm fairly creative. I'm as silly as the day is long! I'm very intelligent, too (or so I like to believe) with an IQ of around 130. Unfortunately, I have the social skills of a goose, so I am very introverted and more of a homebody. I'm not at all shy, but I do have a lot of social anxiety because of my weight.

I'm a super picky eater, so someone would have to be okay with that aspect of me. I also value honesty above pretty much anything else in life (which means if I ask if my dress makes me look fat, I expect you to say yes if it totally does and wouldn't be at all offended).

A little bit more about me: I'm a liberal, open-minded atheist (meaning I don't insult religious people or try and convince them to believe what I believe) and I am a strong supporter of the LGBT community. I believe that nobody should be discriminated against for things like race, religion (or lack of), and sexual orientation. Wearing Crocs, on the other hand... (Just kidding, sort of.) I'm stubborn, I like to talk a lot, but I'm very loyal.

I should warn you, though, I love talking about things like politics and current events from all over the world, so I'd like someone who can keep up with me intellectually.

Favorite types of music: Pretty much anything except country and rap music that's superficial. I've been singing on an off for 20 years, so I have an appreciation for almost all styles of music. Some of my favorite songs range from techno to 70s rock, or even to 90s R&B.

Shows I like: Firefly, Star Trek (TNG), The Simpsons, Futurama, Anne With an E, Orange is the New Black, Drop Dead Diva, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Mad Men, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Good Place, Project Runway, Survivor, Eurovision, M*A*S*H* (my absolute favorite), Santa Clarita Diet, That 70s Show, Death Note, Sailor Moon, and a bunch of others that I can't remember right now.

Hobbies: Video games! I'm an old school gamer who sticks with 6th generation gaming and below, with the exception of 3DS. Some of my favorite games are Legend of Legaia, Breath of Fire III, any Pokemon game, Final Fantasy VI and VII, and Chrono Trigger. I'm the weirdo who likes to have the soundtracks to my favorite games.

I also like writing- I have a blog that I'm working on, and I'm in the beginning stages of creating a fantasy series. Like any stereotypically nerdy chick, I also love to read. I lost pretty much all of my books when I moved across the country, though, sadly.

Despite being more focused on older games, I also enjoy working with technology and software. As I mentioned before, I've been singing for about 20 years and also play the flute. When I choose a career, I want it to include one of my hobbies.

Other interesting stuff:

What I'm looking for:
-Someone between the ages of 23-30.
-Somebody who's honest!! !!
-Not a smoker (of any kind)
-Not a regular drinker
-Smart
-Someone who likes animals, especially cats
-Totally nerdy
-I'd prefer someone with Asperger's, but I am openminded to anyone Neurotypical that is understanding of the Spectrum
-Appreciates music like I do
-Someone who's NOT living in their parents' home, unless it's a temporary thing after having moved out before
-Someone who doesn't keep me a secret if we manage to hit it off. If I'm dating you, I'm going to be proud of it and show you off to people. I'd like the same courtesy.
-I'm perfectly fine with divorcees. I was engaged once, so I'm not going to be judgmental about that sort of thing.

So yeah, that's me!

Being the daring soul I am, I've decided to post here on my first day in this forum. So here goes nothing...

My name is Matthew. I'm 21 years old, 5'9", and overweight. Native to Southern California, specifically the San Fernando Valley area. My interests include games (board, card, video, tabletop RPG, you name it, I've probably played it), books (both reading and sometimes writing them), eating (who doesn't?), and watching the occasional movie or episode of anime.

My ideal girlfriend is someone not only with similar interests, but also with similar experiences. What I mean by that is a girl who knows the importance of validation, loyalty, and forgiveness, and above all, knows how much loneliness can sting deeply. I want someone I can relate to as much as someone I can care for.

Even though, I'm predominantly seeking a partner, I'm open to friendships too. Please just be clear about what you're looking for if and when you first message me. I'm not terribly good at digging up hidden or implied meanings.

TL;DR - I'm here, I'm single, and I'm looking for opportunities that have so far proven absent from my life.

Hi my name's Peter I'm 30 from Liverpool UK. I'm here for friendship and maybe more with guys or gals (preferably guys for the maybe more). I have AS which I was diagnosed with in 2000. My main hobbies are music, bass guitar, songwriting, video games classic and modern. I like a good drink a couple of times a week. Looks wise I am 6"2, chubby, dark brown hair and brown eyes. I also occasionally exercise in my local gym. Dating wise I'm looking for someone who is sound af and great to get along with and plays music and games and likes a tipple.

I do suffer from depression, not clinical but ongoing/chronic but I am trying to overcome that.

If there's anything else that anyone wants to know or if u want to chat then please feel free to PM me

I'm 29, single, female, straight, cisgender, Canadian (in Montreal), mother of a son who's 8 and in Texas with his dad. I'm diagnosed with 9 psych disorders, can you handle me??? I dunno if ANY of it is accurate anymore, though. I'm on Celexa for depression. I'm TOTALLY AGAINST labeling. I'm part of the Icarus Project mad pride/ psych survivors movement. I'm writing and almost done a book about my life and opinons and autism, and a fiction book about a bipolar girl who ends up on death row in Texas. I LOVE creative writing, disasters, autism talk, mental disorder talk, controversy talk that doesn't require extensive knowledge of politics, philosophy and Unitarian Universalism. Someone PM me, I want some company!! I like energetic, enthusiastic, loving people!!

You're into the Icarus project? I am too--I just found out about it! Unfortunately the group around here (central North Carolina) doesn't seem to have anyone who is both on the spectrum and has other mental health conditions.

Unfortunately, I'm not in Canada (unless you couldn't tell haha). Even if you were here, I also don't know how I'd do with someone who had a kid. I know you're not taking care of him, what I mean is in life experience I'd probably get along better with a "just moved out of her own parents' house" type girl. And it would only add to my bitterness that a girl even with AS AND multiple psychiatric disorders isn't totally inexperienced in dating like I am. That's romantically though--I'd certainly be happy to be your friend!

I no longer drink alcohol as often as a couple of times a week, I'm in the gym a lot more frequently, and I don't feel or suffer as much depression thanks to Citalopram. Nothing else has changed though 8)

I am 5-9 25 year old Italian male who just recently finished occupational therapy school and looking to complete my doctorate so I can specialize in Autism so I can work with children on the spectrum. I recently just found out that I have HFA and was a slightly hard pill to swallow at the time, but it gets better as the days go on. I love sports, instruments, and educating myself. I am really glad I joined this community because it is refreshing to be connected with people like myself. If anyone cares to know more just PM me, idc where you live or what you are interested in or looking for; having friends is ok with me; gotta start somewhere. I currently reside in FL, but lived in NC, SC, TN, and CT; definitely not sure where ill end up next so just taking it day by day.

Ideals in a partner: Someone who can engage me. I love interesting people. I'm really, really affectionate, so i'd appreciate someone who loves cuddles and all that cute romantic stuff. I appreciate the simple things in life. Prefer someone who is shorter than me. Physical and mental attraction is a must. Will date both NTs and Aspies. :)

About me: I'm a simple man. Quite introverted until you really engage me, but I may end up sending you a message first if I think I like you. I prefer to listen than talk. I was diagnosed with ASD in 2003 under the Asperger's Syndrome heading. I identify as someone with ASD since it doesn't sound like "ass burgers" or anything.

I love cars, and there isn't a time when you won't see me behind the wheel of my trusty car Leo. I am a Youtuber, who produces content to do with 1:1 and RC cars. I work as a Graphic Artist for a Monumental Products company.

I am a warm, friendly and selfless person once you get to know me. My biggest weakness is that i give too much, too quickly.

Drop me a message, and i'll tell you more. :D

40 y/o white male, 6"1 218lbs (~10lbs overweight for my current build)
San Francisco, CA
Train in grappling (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and formerly, Aikido), casually lift weights.

Also like improv and swing dancing. My improv ability is frustratingly limited, but I still like it because it can get absurdly funny. All that said, I haven't been to either of those in a while.

I visited 26 local meetups of aspies. I am one, and like other aspies because they usually don't try to monopolize all attention in the room, and you don't have to yell to be heard by them. We share similar levels of isolation, missing pieces in social skills, in-depth analysis of things, and attraction to stable routines and patterns.

I am socially centrist, fiscally conservative, and participate in political rallies that protest oppression of free speech.

For a very long time I have been obsessed with creating a spiritual sequel to a 1997 computer game, "Fallout".
And researching various supplements. And martial arts.

My favorite film is Back To The Future. I have a failed Youtube channel, which has 2 very comprehensive reviews of well-known films. A few months ago, as an experiment, I started another channel, which hosts videos of street fights I lift from elsewhere. It quickly outgrew the movie review channel, which taught me some important lessons.

But I digress.

The most deal-breaking difference between NTs and me, is the extraversion factor. I like ocean walks, not African safaris. I absorb a lot of information and meaning from environment and connection with other people, and too much environmental diversity can get both overwhelming and uninteresting.

Whenever I see women's profiles on a dating site, and they have photos of themselves riding camels in a desert, scuba diving, and falling from planes strapped under some large man, I move on.

I'm not a wild world traveler. I do want to visit Japan, though. And locally, explore strange, tiny towns where everyone knows each other and everything seems at a Dutch angle. Just not by myself. And not too often.

Ya'know thespectrum you sign a contract to be open when you do those statistics things. What that tells me is that statistics only tell the people who are open about their problems. Of the billions of people on this planet, do you really think all of them are open about their problems publicly?

I don't follow what you're trying to say.
I'm just trying to make light humour of a very dire situation.
I suppose I could make a post about myself for the 4th time in just over as many years, but hey ho.

There are autistic girls who are single, but they may not be open that they are single.

I hope what I say is clear enough.

I'm sorry I didn't understand you were joking. I thought you were using ridiculing sarcasm. If that is the proper way of saying it.

I'm aware of that possibility, though seeing as they are more than likely waiting for someone to message them first, them not posting on this thread at all eliminates that outcome entirely.

Oh..I was using ridiculing sarcasm. You were actually correct. Only, I wasn't making fun of anyone in the thread but myself. :jester:
