When we first moved to Aussie when I was 7 I would just sit infront of the TV for hours (or at least, it seemed like hours). I still quite like it, dispite the fact I don't often watch it unless they have an old cartoon I like.

The cartoons they show now don't really compare to the older stuff :)

I actually fell in love with the Cartoon Network from the early 90s which aired lots of classic Looney Tunes, Popeye, Tom and Jerry, and Droopy cartoons and also the Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Josie and the Pussycats, Smurfs, Scooby-Doo)!

I guess I like the older stuff too, but that's what I grew up with so I'm partial to my childhood memories. except for some animes I can't watch today's cartoons they're drawn to badly.

Dude, EVERYTHING about cartoon network was better back in the day. The shows were better on both CN and Adultswim, especially Ed Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Lab. Great shows. Even the commercial transition animations were better on classic cartoon network. It used to have short animations of the characters following the cartoon network signs. Now it features pork-headed little dorks on skateboards going over the cartoon network sign. Oh and Total Drama Island is a total piece of s@#$.

My favorite era of Cartoon Network is between 1992-2006. From 2007 on down the channel lots most of it's charm and creativity. The only show's that are left and\or currently airing on the channel that I do enjoy watching right now is regular show, adventure time, looney tunes, wabbit, be cool scbooy doo, tom and jerry, steven universe, we bare bears and sometimes gumball. For adult swim the boondocks, American dad, bobs burgers, kill la kill, one piece, dragon ball z kai, and mick Tyson mysterys and rick & morty.

Of the so-called 'Cartoon Cartoons' that aired on the Dutch Cartoon Network, I enjoyed Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, and I. M. Weasel. To an extent Dexter as well. I didn't care for Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy or Courage. I did like the shorts Justice Friends and Dial M for Monkey. Aside from these, I was hooked on DBZ.

The early 2000s were a magical time when I look back on it. I was going to secondary school and was in the middle of puberty. I thought everything sucked, and it was nice to escape into these zany new cartoons. My mother disapproved of them, but I'd typically watch them upstairs. Here in Holland, CN aired an hour of classic cartoons from 11pm to midnight. Lots of Tex Avery stuff. After that, Top Cat was aired, and I was kind of a Top Cat fan back then. A 24 hour cartoon channel was new to us in the Netherlands.

If "classics" means the Cartoon Cartoons from the 90's-2006 then yes, I am a fan.

Are you kidding me? PowerPuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends were my whole life among other shows.
